Nothing evokes a vacation feeling more than wandering around a market in a charming, authentic Italian village. You can experience this from Casa Bonta:
Weekly Markets
- Acqui Terme (15 minutes away): Every Tuesday and Friday morning, there is a fairly large weekly market in the city center. There is also a farmers’ market on the same morning, held in the parking lot of the Galassia supermarket.
- Nizza Monferrato (30 minutes away): Every Friday morning, there is a fairly large weekly market in the city center.
- Sassello (30 minutes away): Every Wednesday morning, a small market in a cozy little village.
- Alba and Asti (50 minutes away): Every Saturday morning.
Antique Markets
- Acqui Terme (15 minutes away): On the 4th Sunday of the month
- Nizza Monferrato (30 minutes away): Every 3rd Sunday of the month. This is a large, well-organized, and renowned antique market.
- Ovada (30 minutes away): A large antique market during Italian holidays, e.g., Easter Monday, May 1st, June 2nd, August 15th, the first Sunday of October, November 1st, December 8th.
- Alessandria (40 minutes away): Every 1st Sunday of the month (not in August).
- Casale Monferrato (1 hour away): Every 2nd Sunday of the month.
- Turin (1.5 hours away): Every 2nd Sunday of the month, there is a famous antique/flea market called “Balon.”
