Terms & conditions

For all accommodations at Casa Bonta, the following general and booking conditions apply.

Upon entering into a booking contract through payment (or deposit), these general and booking conditions of the Agriturismo Casa Bonta become effective and are accepted by both parties, tenant and landlord. These conditions are designed to protect the rights and obligations of both parties and to avoid potential misunderstandings.

Price and Payment Conditions

  1. The prices of our accommodations are based on a maximum occupancy of 4 people. For each additional person, we charge an extra cost of €75 per week.
  2. After departure, the accommodation will be cleaned for you. For the final cleaning and bed linen, we charge a fee of €85 for the apartments and €75 for the safari tents.
  3. Each booking is confirmed via email. A deposit of 40% of the total rental amount (rent and additional costs) is required. The balance must be paid no later than 10 weeks before the start of the rental period. In case of non-payment within the set deadline, we will always send a reminder via email, but if the balance is not paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Any amounts already paid will not be refunded. In this case, the cancellation conditions still apply.
  4. We recommend that you personally take out travel cancellation insurance.

General Provisions

  1. The accommodations can be occupied from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 a.m.
  2. From June to mid-September, the changeover day for the safari tents is only on Saturdays, while outside the high season, the changeover days are Wednesday and Saturday, with a minimum stay of 3 nights. Apartments are rented weekly, with Saturday as the changeover day.
  3. Guests must respect the surrounding environment and other guests, always avoiding causing disturbances or inconvenience (e.g., loud music). Quiet hours on our grounds are from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  4. In each accommodation, the beds are made, and kitchen towels are provided.
  5. We have baby cots and high chairs available. Please book them in advance (subject to availability).
  6. All of our accommodations are non-smoking.
  7. Pets are not allowed in our accommodations during the high season, but they are allowed in the safari tents during the low season by prior arrangement. A fee of €5 per pet per night applies.
  8. Visiting guests must always be reported and cannot stay overnight without the explicit consent of the landlord.
  9. The tenant may not, under any circumstances, sublet the property or make it available to third parties.
  10. It is not permitted to occupy/use the accommodations with more than 4 or 5 people (depending on the accommodation), unless prior written permission has been obtained from the landlord.
  11. The tenant must inspect the accommodation upon arrival and report any damages and/or defects to the landlord. During the stay, the tenant must immediately report any damages and/or need for repairs to the landlord. The landlord has the right to inspect the accommodation during the rental period if there is reasonable suspicion that the tenant is not treating the accommodation with care.
  12. The house rules in the accommodations are an integral part of the rental contract and must be strictly followed.
  13. The use of play equipment, the pool, and the grounds is at your own risk. Approaching the animals is also at your own risk.
  14. Tenants must have a valid passport or ID card upon arrival and for the entire rental period.
  15. If a preference for a specific safari tent was indicated at the time of booking, we will do our best to accommodate it, but we cannot guarantee it 100%. We reserve the right to change tent numbers/locations.

Cancellation by the Guest

In case of cancellation by the tenant, please inform us in writing. No refunds will be given. In case of cancellation, the tenant is required to pay the following amounts:

  1. Cancellation more than 20 weeks before: 10% of the rental amount, with a maximum of €150.
  2. Cancellation from 20 weeks until the day of arrival: 100% of the rental amount.

Shortening the stay is considered a partial cancellation, and the rental amount is calculated for the entire initially booked period.

COVID-19: We do not have special conditions regarding COVID-19. We advise our guests to take out appropriate travel cancellation insurance.

Liability

  1. During the stay in our accommodations, the tenant is fully responsible for the accommodation, its furnishings, and all objects belonging to the property. Any damages caused by the tenant and/or their travel companions must be fully compensated. We reserve the right to hold the tenant liable even after the end of the rental period, should the damages caused not be paid for or not be properly compensated. All associated costs will be charged to the tenant mentioned in the rental contract.
  2. The landlord cannot be held responsible for the loss and/or theft of valuables left in the accommodations or on the grounds, nor for damages to cars parked on our property.
  3. The landlord is not in any case responsible for damages and/or injuries suffered by the tenants/users of our accommodations (including any guests of the landlord). The tenant exempts the landlord from all liability for damages and/or injuries caused to third parties. The use of the facilities on the grounds of Casa Bonta is at the tenant’s own risk.
  4. The landlord cannot be held responsible for accidents in the accommodation, with the animals, on the grounds, including the pool.
  5. The landlord is not responsible for damages caused by natural events, natural disasters, attacks, strikes, violence, or accidents. If the landlord is held responsible for the loss of rental enjoyment, compensation will not exceed the rental amount. In case of force majeure, there is no right to a refund.

Photos and Videos

For our website and social media channels, we regularly create visual material of our grounds, accommodations, pool, and activities. If, upon arrival, the tenant prefers not to be filmed, the landlord will take this into account.
